here’s the thing about mick rory. he doesn’t do authority. he doesn’t do rules. he doesn’t follow orders. except for the ones his chosen boss gives. and that’s the sticking point- mick rory chooses who he follows. and once he’s chosen he’ll follow them no matter how dark the path gets. mick rory chooses sara lance, and after that it doesn’t matter where they go, or who they’re fighting. what the boss says, gets done. and that’s not saying he doesn’t tell her to fuck off, doesn’t sleep through missions and make dumb choices and go off book. but i’m watching this scene in the first zari episode, and they get pinned by this group of argus agents and mick is ready to burn them all but stops when sara says. gets on his knees because she’s said to do as they say. he puts down his gun, in the face of danger and the opportunity to fry some assholes, because his captain gave an order, and out here in the field sara calls the shots. end of story.

I’m screaming because they used a hand double for Ava in the opening scene where she’s holding the phone, reading up on Swamp Thaaaang! Her thumb nails in the close up are short and then it pans back to Jes where you can clearly see her thumbnails are long. I’m cracking up. Her hands weren’t gay enough to be seen up close.

okay so they absolutely do because her thumb nail is DEFINITELY longer (excuse the shitty photos i streamed it)

Two questions here

1) does jes care about her nails THAT MUCH that they had to get a double

2) who sat down and said 'okay jes's nails are too long Ava is a lesbian'

I don’t think Legends would have the authority to resurrect Laurel even though all the DCTV shows all work together to an extent, Laurel is mostly a Arrow character so if they did resurrect her it would have to be on Arrow as it Gunningham and Wendy’s decision not the others as Laurel coming back would affect their show the most.

lol i don’t want laurel on legends, i’m just saying it’s silly to keep dangling that in sara’s face as though its ever a possibility when they know damn straight they’re never going to do it

but ohmygod in the s4 lot finale when they revive nate with the power of love expressed in song, the looks they give mick thooooo

just the looks of utter confusion and “dude. dude nate just- he died, we are mourning our friend, did you just. fucking sing. james taylor??? while nate is?? lying dead at our feet??? what is wrong with you right now?”

so i just got to season 3 of legends with my parents and i’d been hyping ava up and after we watched the first three eps i asked my mum if she liked ava even though she’d been mean to the legends and my mum destroyed every single ava/avalance anti in one sentence by being like ‘when was she mean????’ and when i explained she was like ‘oh she was just doing her job’

anyway my mother is an intellectual and if she can see that the ‘ava is abusive’ thing is bs, so should all the antis be able to
