Not accepted | Chika & Morgiana
It was seven in the morning and Chika had already been wide awake since dawn. Since it was a Saturday, he didn’t have to go to school, but he still had other responsibilities. Like homework. Still, before he started on that, it would be nice to get some training in.
Chika sat by the kitchen table, waiting for the chef to finish making his breakfast. Considering that he didn’t plan to do much physical activity, the boy had ordered a simple oatmeal, no flavour to it or anything, just simple chia seeds mixed into it.
Then Morgiana-san walked into the room. It was obvious that she had just woken up, considering that she hadn’t groomed herself all that much. “Good morning.” He gave her a curt nod, and then continued to wait on his breakfast. Why was it taking the bastard so long to make oatmeal? At this rate, it would have been quicker if Chika made it himself. He drummed his fingers on the table, growing ever impatient.
According to his father, he was supposed to be battling Morgiana-san right now. The family rule stated that as a greeting, family members must battle each other. But Chika didn’t consider Morgiana-san to be a part of the family, despite his father telling him to treat her like that. She also should be aware of the rules, so if she attacked, Chika was prepared.
