this is very much headcanon territory but I think Joshua Graham had a major impact on the culty aspects of the Legion. I always imagine the priestesses as christian adjacent, but with Caesar implicitly taking the role as “the Lord.” I also think baptisms are common for Legion-born babies. Graham being this prolific christian but actively bastardizing his religion at large is perfect to me

So me and moot were talking and we calculated like a 2% chance that Nicolina survives in the Legion if they win in addition to other other endings🫣 she's considerably better off than most people if they were backstabber by the Legion, especially if Vulpes...becomes a better person under Nicolina's influence, but shit is slim pickings that's for sure. Like it's either you become a Legion wife and live out in misery as a former shell of yourself going from savior of the Legion to not even allowed to go outside without a man, OR you die. Sad irony is that Nicolinas legacy and presence 1) saves the Legion and helps it continue and 2) they (meaning Caesar and co) act to the public as if she is treated with severance. I mean her likeness is on posters and shit and coins and she's become iconic within Legion ranks yet has her liberties and freedoms stripped
