Damn, though. Like my usual advantage at writing comic book type shit is that I’m good at action scene. I lack the dedication to train consistently, but I’ve been a martial arts hobbyist for long enough that it adds up. Fighting style as characterization is totally a thing on this show, and it should always be a thing. But my strengths don’t apply here that well.

I took BJJ the longest, so you know, my characters can armbar shit and do chokeholds and I know just enough about the practical movement to write it vividly. I often end up writing dexterous types, quick and lithe and with a size disadvantage.

Frank Castle fights nothing like that. And shit, guns? I do not know guns like I know knives. I know my way around a good knife and I can make a bad knife decent enough with enough time and patience to use my combo grit whetstone thing. But guns? Range experience tells me I’m a terrible shot and my gear knowledge is like, zero.

So anyway, time to google some shit on assault rifles, I guess? And Frank is gonna stab some people because that’s what I know how to write, okay? And we’ve seen him rock a prison shiv, so: LEGIT ENOUGH.
