lol when u said he was like lapis this image of him, after being healed, creating the buzzlightyear-like wings (instead of water wings) with weird gravitational waves/rays popped into my head

Do you think you could try making a Benny for this wonderful Gem au?

I tried to! He was gonna be the equivalent of Lapis, with a moonstone-type gem on his back instead of his jetpack, and some kind of space/gravity manipulating power that let him fly. And just like Lapis, his gem was cracked (probably as a result of the battles against Business) and Emmet heals him to full strength, earning his gratitude/friendship and probably getting him on board with the other rebel gems (master builders).

I never did get around to drawing it,, :’3c maybe another time...

I just wanted to say, I love your Gem AU! And now it's gotten me thinking about the whole loss of Good Cop thing. Let me know what you think - but what if Biz used to fuse with GCBC all the time but it was always unstable because of GC as the unwilling participant. BC and GC get so in conflict about this that they fall apart - two tiny cops - Business doesn't let them fuse again, imprisoning GC and fusing with BC to form an incredibly powerful, yet volatile fusion!

OH JEEZE… that’s intense! :O But really cool! and way different from my idea haha. my idea was just Business intentionally cracking Good Cop’s gem to make him less responsive and make GCBC more unstable overrall, until later on Emmet pities them enough to use his healing powers to fix GC’s gem (and starts them thinking about turning against Bis and helping the rebel gems)

Although, I dunno still on Business’ gem, since he’s the main villain and leader of the homeworld gem forces I’ve been thinking he’d be Red Diamond or something. I’ll probly figure it out whenever I try drawing him...

Been sitting on these doodles for a while, may as well post ‘em.

Here’s my gemstyle, Rhodonite. She’s either a homeworld or kindergarten gem who supplanted herself into human culture so much that she grew to love it, and sympathized with humans to the point of wanting to rebel against the other gems alongside the original Axinite and company. Possibly the equivalent to Pearl, being the most level-headed of the group, but more reckless and aggressive. 

Her weapon is dual swords because she wielded them in one of the promotional images for the movie and I’ll use any excuse to draw her using them =]

can you do a Gem-sona combination of Wyldstyle and Unikitty? similar to the good cop bad cop and emmet combination!

HMM I’ll consider it, Unikitty is basically the equivalent of Lion in this AU but a fusion with Wyldstyle might be interesting!
