When I started drawing Ninjago I drew them as people not Legos. I was going to use some of these designs for comics. I still really like the first three pictures here and I had lots of fun designing Pixal outfits but that one of Skylor... I hate it.

Drawing my OCs as none-Lego people

Starting at the top is my version of the first spinjitzu master, Next is the evil Princess Lilith. Finally the optimistic Kareena who I feel eyes are just a little too big here.

I really enjoy drawing traditionally on paper. It's just relaxing. Line weight just comes to me so much easier for me. I haven't drawn actual people that often lately so this was pretty fun to do. Helps fight burnout a bit.

Mostly included this because I'm very happy with how the dramatic shading turned out on the guy on the top next to sad coffee man.

I used AI generated images for this as refs. I only used a ref for the very basic construction for Koko and Garmadon.

Teenaged Wu, Garmadon, Ray and Maya. Ray came out looking older then I wanted but I'm not fixing it.

Using these for a comic. Thank goodness I'm nearly finished with it.
