Rise of the Six Anew Chapter 2: The Wasteland of the Badlands

Ikova, Toguo, Gijori, Valik, and Otuo begin their quest to find their missing sixth Toa as they walk through the baron desert, home to many Pomatoran and creatures not so friendly "GAH!!! You think we could get a wing pack or a land crawler or something" Valik cries out "well let's see, the bandits would shoot down a wing pack, the land crawler would more than likely make too many vibrations and noise bringing either said bandits or something worse" Gijori replied "what's worse than bandits?" Valik asked "you got your scorpios, serpentors, dune beasts, spinner fangs, and of course Zangbria" said Toguo "ok follow up question what's a Zangbria?" Valik said with a slight hint of fear in his voice "oh nothing, just a giant worm like thing that can spin as it digs making it able to crawl around with more ease in tight areas and it mostly feeds on serpentors and scorpios but it sometimes eats Pomatorans and bandits" said Otuo with a slight chuckle as he sees the expression on his face. Ikova stops in the middle of walking everyone looks at him "you ok buddy?" Asked Toguo "yea I just see something shiny over there and I have no clue what it is...Otuo can you make a soundwave blast or shockwave to see what that is over their?" Ikova said "what like a sonar? Ok that don't sound hard" Otuo made a line path for his soundwaves to travel and attempt to hit the target he then let out a quiet rumble of sound as not to alert any nearby predators or startle the wildlife "well good news, we got a land crawler" he said with a sigh "YES OH THANK EKIMU YEEEES!!!" Valik let out joyfully "BUT!!! It isn't designed to hold ALL of us so someone is gonna have to sit on someone's lap and we are gonna need to get arranged all weird" Otuo said with a sour look on his face as he thinks "I CALL SHOTGUN" Valik screamed "there is no shotgun, I think but ok let's get this thing out of the sand, Toguo can you machine gun punch the sand around the land crawler?" Ikova asked curiously. Toguo walked over to it with the other Toa behind him as he stretches and limbers up "this is gonna get everywhere" he said giggling as the others hide behind a rock he then proceeds to fire kinetic blasts as fast as he can to move the sand from the land crawler. As the sand clears the Toa starts to lift it out of the pit with almost no problem at all "well that's that, LET'S RIDE!!!" He says excitedly. The Toas all pile into the crawler and best they can and take off admiring the speed of their transportation and of the landscape " Otuo aren't you from this kind of area?" asked Toguo "yeah but I lived in a dune city on the other side of Nobuta, it was nice and carved naturally by time and cause of that it was well protected by solidified sand" said Otuo "I just realized, if my aura is green, Toguo is purple, Otuo you are yellow and Ikova's blue and Valik is red where is our white Toa our Komatoran!?" Gijori asked curiously. "I don't know but we made it, good driving Toguo" Ikova replied with excitement and enthusiasm "I try, alright gang let's go find our last Toa he mind be here" a bolt zooms past the Toas and to the Coliseum "WHAT WAS THAT!?" exclaimed Toguo "let's find out" Gijori says. The Toa make their way through the large town and try to make their way to the Coliseum taking note of land marks and exits incase the Darkness follows them as they reach the Coliseum they hear the roar of a crowd "well, time to see what all the buzz is about" To Be Continued

Rise of the Six Anew: Chapter 1. It all Starts in the Void:

Years have past since the original Toa have saved the island from Makuta's Dark Hunters, the Toa have past, but the elders know this peace will never last, but they do not tell of this to keep the world in blinded bliss "they know the Prophecy already...why do we not tell them what we have found in the temple?" Says Kodovi "it would cause panic and we don't know if any other Toa will rise from the ashes" Pihu retorts. A mysterious elder comes in with the Silver Elder Batoro "my friend here says he knows of some possible Toas" Batoro gleefully says. Away from the city of Zibalka a young Matoran is adventuring to find...just about anything any historic worth "hmm...I wonder" Ikova says with a sense of curiosity "let's see...this rune should lead me to something...hopefully" Ikova wanders around reading the ancient glyphs "IKOVA!!! IKOVA WHERE ARE YOU!!!" a voice said "DOWN HERE BATOL" Ikova replied back "you crazy fool we are in a time of great technologies and you still dabble in ancient writing and the times of old pfff I think you were born in the wrong time" he jokingly retorts "oh hehehe Batol, our past IS our future, I mean just look how many Matorans have made vehicles and tools based off the Toa, lava boards inspired by Tahu, glide packs based of Lewa, and aqua tech to help none Gamatorans breath under water like Gali not mention-" "ALRIGHT yeah yeah yeah I get it" they both laugh "so what'd my favorite Lematoran find?" Batol asked "...I dunno I think this could be some kind of ancient sword...maaaybe" "OH GIMME!!!" Batol tries to pull the relic out and fails "WHAT IS IT MADE WITH MAN!?!? It's like someone came in here and threw Sadali Frog spit around that thing" Ikova chuckles "yeah OOOOOOR you're just weak for a sports player" Batol gets a face of embarrassment and slight anger "yeah well...I can do cool moves" Batol proceeds to do some wall running, jumps and flips "yeah I can too we're Lematorans" Ikova says "oh yea-" Batol smacks hard into a wall and it breaks revealing a hidden room with a stranger fairly large orb woth glowing blue, purple and white glyphs and sigils "BATOL ARE YOU O...k...?" They both look at the marvelous orb with mystery and astonishment "ooooooh aaaaaaaah" they both say "Ikova what do you think it could be?" Batol askes "well I think it could be some form of magic orb it's the size of a mask...so it can't be a mask container from when they had to hide some of Ekimu's powerful masks" he says as he examines the wonderful object "let's take it back to my house" Ikova suggests "okie dokie, and it's a tower that has a windy stair case UP to a house...just sayin" Batol says laughingly "and THAT is why you will never appreciate architecture" Ikova jokingly retorted "ok let's move it I wanna study this thing". Days past and Ikova still can't figure the sigils on the orb "SUP NERD BUDDY, whatcha up to?" Toguo says as he comes through the door and up the stairs with Gijori "what's that" they both ask "Gijori! Great!!! A Komatoran should be able to assist with this and you are one of the smartest I know!!!" Ikova said with glee and excitement "ok let me see it" Gijori examines the orb and translates several sigils "through future and past...that which is consistent...is those of purest nature once every generation" he outs down the orb with a look of disappointment "it's basically just a dumb history orb with a moral of be good to your fellow Matoran and what not, it's basic knowledge" a sad expression wipes across Ikova's face "oh here I thought I found a good relic at least that sword back at the old ruins looks cool and worth a good bit of knowledge" they all walk out and the orb disappears in a split second flash of blue light. Ikova, Gijori, and Toguo walk to meet Valik and Otuo at the arena for Batol's match of Zangri a game where skill, agility, and strength come into play while the combatants wear special armor and use special gear to fight in a safe gladitorial setting like the Glatorians of old "woah! Look at him go!!!" Ikova says astonishingly "dude!!! He is really good with that Arani blade and Banhu shield" Toguo replied "can they use glyphs? Or any form or gauntlet powers to truely battle modernized or no?" asks Gijori "na it's simply up close and personal here, baya tag may be more your speed if you're looking for that, basically blaster shoot out like we used to do as kids with those fake ones only with glyphs that do fake damage" just as Gijori was going to reply a rumble interrupted the match "what in the name of Ekimu was that!!!" said Batoro then suddenly a Protodermys Beast emerges from under the stadium and let's out a powerful roar "BATOL!!!" Ikova runs head on to his friend's aid realizing the danger "IKOVA WHAT ARE YOU DOING THE ELDERS WILL...handle-" Toguo trails off as a portal appears in front of him and 6 orbs of white, purple, blue, red, green, and yellow light quickly eject from the portal "WATCH OUT!!!!" Gijori screams as she watches her friend stand before the portal, Toguo makes his powerful leap to fearlessly try and get Ikova, Valik goes to shield Gijori, Otuo selflessly gets everyone else out the lights then come to the Matorans and dissipate revealing their physical forms. The orbs then open as the portal closes forming into the masks of Kinetic Force given to the strongest hero, the mask of Glyphs which is given to the wisest minds, the mask of Replication given to the heroic and selfless to be in more than one place at a time, the mask of Soundwaves given to those of powerful will and devotion to friends, then the mask of Portals and the Void only given to anyone showing the true qualities of a hero the young Matorans hold out their hands and put on the mask. "COME ON YA BIG BIO...metallic...HUNK OF JUNK I AM NOT AFRAID!!!!" Batol said the Protodermys Beast lunged at him only to be teleported back several feet "huh?...what just happened!?" Batol looks around curios and surprised "stand back we have this" a voice says, a portal opens and out come the five new Toa, Toa Ikova with his powers over space and teleportation, Toa Gijori and her powerful power of elemental glyphs, Toa Toguo the team's heavy and his ability to emit kinetic force from any motion made, Toa Valik with his ability to make duplicates of himself to aid him in battle, and Toa Otuo and his powers over soundwaves which can help him ultimately get the drop on his foes the Toa begin to unsheath their weapons "dude...I got a mace!!!" Toguo said with excitement "I like this bow thing I have" Otuo says admiring his sonibolt blaster "I could get used to there bein two of me and four of these!" Valik says as she lifts up twin stun batons, they turn to Gijori "I admire this beam staff" she spins it around to feel the weight of it "Ikova what do you have?" they all turn to see him messing with his weapon "I don't know...looks like a sword hilt but no bla-" a blade of strange energy bursts out of the handle harmonized by magnetism "it looks like a charge sword...alright we can window shop these things later right now we got to clear this Protodermys Beast from the stadium" Ikova says stoically they charge towards the beast using whatever it took to incapacitate the threat "amazing...Batoro look!!! New Toas!!!!" Joyfully said Kodovi "phenomenal!!!" said the awestruck Batoro as the elders watched the Toa fight with all their might. Ikova made several portals as the others ran through and another set appeared allowing Valik's douple gangers to distract and catch the beast of guard giving time for Otuo and Gijori time to attack from long range. Ikova and Toguo beckoned the remaining Matorans out to safety then returned to battle "TOGUO GO!!!" Ikova opened two portals one for Toguo to run through to gain enough energy to be a boulder and one above the Beast up high for maximum impact "ooohohooooo this is gonna be fun" he said as he ran back for a better head start. He then b-lined it through the portal screaming "INCOMING!!!" The others looked up "nuh uh!" Said Gijori as she made wind gliphs to dash her, Valik and Otuo back out of harms way then Toguo came down with great force and pinned the Beast down finishing the fight "well...that was definitely...different?" Ikova said "true but ya know it was fun" said Valik as she giggled and high fived Toguo. "TOA!!!" Batoro yelled "I am amazed!!! And so proud my Matorans have become something so much greater" said the Silver Elder "I'm just glad we saved all the others when we did" Gijori replied "well your journey isn't over, you have one more Toa to find the Split Second Speedster is what he is called, he is faster than even Lewa's flight was but be weary and attentive" he says with caution and danger in his voice "he is in the Badlands between the ruins and here" as he holds out a map stone to give to the Toa The Toa look all at each other "don't worry Elder we can do this" Ikova says as he shakes the hand of the Elder "and thank you for protecting the city we'll be back to give you a break and take over as its protectors" Ikova and Batoro both chuckle and the Toa head off on their great journey. The Toa know of the Speedster but not of the dark revival that looms around the corner. To Be Continued (I am going to try and add more chapters whenever I think of a good plot and more characters so this won't be posted on a regular basis but I hope you enjoyed the story)
