my Leguna seca wsbk experience.
Leguna Seca vs Coyote | COBRAS . #cobra #coyote #leguna #blue #yellow #cars #fastcar #vintage #classic #jonathanmotorcars #jmc #speed #exhaust (at Jonathan Motorcars)
Today I took Leguna an hour away back to the city where my friend, a hardcore Koi/Goldfish keeper, has five ponds. He gladly took him in and showed me what pond Leguna will live in until he's ready to go in with the big fish (some of those adult koi in the larger ponds are like two feet long) and started the slow acclimation process. He really knows his stuff and identified Leguna as a shubunken koi. He's free from that nasty bowl and is a pond baby now :)
Say hello to Leguna. I didn't name him. Yes, he's a common goldfish, and yes, he's in a bowl. He just arrived at my apartment ten minutes ago. The cast of the musical here thought "oh wow wouldn't it be fun to have fish in the dressing rooms" and randomly got these guys. I'm told there are two, but I currently have only one. I'm going to hopefully put him in my ten gallon for the weekend and try to convince them to let me keep him and the other one. Then, as soon as I can, which will likely be in a few days, he'll be relocated to my roommate's boyfriend's parent's pond. It's a big pond with other goldies and it's filtered. I just cleaned his bowl and water, it was a week old and dirty as hell. I fed him and ran some water tests, and as expected the toxins were off the charts. So daily changes until go pick up my ten gallon out of storage or move him this weekend to the pond. He seems to have perked up after the clean and I've informed the people who bought him about the improper care he's in. He's staying for the weekend but hopefully the cast will let me keep him and the other one so I can take them to the pond. Updates to come.
