atlas has discovered recently that in the current timeline, he was somewhat obsessed with the giant squid - he doesn’t quite understand the fascination but he isn’t ready to abandon several essays and paintings either even if they aren’t really his. so he’s stuck reading through them, trying to understand where he ever got the idea that the giant squid might be capable of teleportation; and ignoring the dozens of giant squid trading cards that plague his collection. but he does agree with one thing: the squid looks majestic when the water glistens on its tentacles at sunrise.
