🍪anon here! I’m kinda realizing a lot of my thoughts pop out at night for me… and they are usually about “would L do this?” And I think yes, yes he would.

I think L would find people doing trick shots with paper and a trash can stupid (marauds would try this and get reprimanded) but if it’s marshmallow trick shots he would find it entertaining(reader and L are pretty good with these tricks since it passes time)

I agree with this!! I'm assuming you mean Matsuda not marauds, and MAN Matsuda would be told off BAD. "A waste of paper. at least throw it in a recycling bin. how on earth are you a detective if this is all you do all day, Matsuda?"

and then less than an hour later Matsu walks in to find reader throwing marshmallows into L's mouth.

hahahahaha but yeah if they're like, really cool trick shots where L can look at them and go "oh hey physics" I think he'd get a kick out of it sometimes, like if you put em on in the background before bed.. I'm thinking YouTube channels like dude perfect or whatever his name is, not just paper in bin y'know.

and as for marshmallows? gets lowkey upset, no matter how cool the shot, if they're not thrown right into his mouth. or yours. just don't waste the marshmallows, okay Y/N?

Actually, Rie spend most of her time in books as a kid. Dinosaur books. Fairy tales. Texts by old dead guys (Freud and Descartes kind of thing). Anything with words. I guess that's not a thing in the way I meant it, though.

So, I'll say flowers. Rie had a long phase of memorising the scientific names of each one and its common meaning. She also liked making bouquets for her family and friends. If she had friends. I still haven't written her backstory.

I'll add though, lots of fanart of characters Rie likes. As for her page, it's probably the same colours as mine but with no information. she'd get blocked as a bot nonstop... But that's social media when you're part of the agency ‘L’.

22. Name a character from a different fandom they'd get along with.

This took a while to think up, but I think Kaori Miyazono from Your Lie in April. It's been a while since I watched it, but I still remember the way she and the story made me feel. They're both cheerful and positive despite the sadness in life, and the sadness they themselves have. I can't really get into explaining this more without rewatching it, but you guys should watch Your Lie if you haven't.

Also, Rei Kiriyama from March Comes in Like a Lion. The shows remind me of one another, though the characters are different. Rei is more like Kōsei than Kaori. Rie and Rei would probably play shogi together in thoughtful silence. Rie's not very good, though...

They're both a bit younger than Rie, but I found it difficult to think of other fandom characters in their twenties she'd get along with.

It's okay not to enjoy angst. It's okay to want to only consume things that make you happy in your fandom. You have no obligation to look at everything. It doesn't make you a bad fan. You can enjoy the stuff you enjoy and avoid the stuff you don't. There's no need to make yourself unhappy.

do you guys think it would be Cool and Neat if I had the characters who speak American English in my story say "center" "color" etc in their dialogue and those who speak UK English say "centre" and "colour" ... or would it just be distracting and confusing

idk if it's just me but I think L would be pretty good at drawing. Probably simplistic, but realistic at the same time. He's probably pretty familiar with human anatomy because of his job, and he's probably had to do sketches of suspects based off of witness testimony at some point in some case, considering he's often a one-man team.

And, you know, drawing can be relaxing. I think he'd also find drawing people would kind of help him, like, understand their character? I don't know how to word it bbbfbf but yeah I think L would have some degree of interest and talent in art. though very little time to do it.
