I sort of wanted to emphasize how the sickness also affects those whose significant other passes away, and i do remember reading a comic at age 12 where a similar dynamic happened with Hanahaki. Since M2 passed on the same day, I thought I'd represent it this way as constipated feelings flooding out on their wounds.
