I think we all know by now that the real trait necessary to pilot the Blue Lion is "must find Galra attractive". Blaytz had the flirty scene with the server Galra and had his arm around a totally different and very clearly blushing Galra in the third SDCC poster, Allura had Lotor, and Lance... Well.

Thing is, if Adam saying "How important am I to you?" is supposed to be blatant enough of representation for Shiro and Adam to be considered canon, how the FUCK is the bonding moment NOT supposed to be?

Klance not being canon wouldn't add up considering that we had a full on romantically coded bonding moment between Keith and Lance. Also there are just way to many people claiming the whole "he's like the future" is for emperor Keith when this entire season proves that Keith sees the earth as his home. I think the most logical way they will do it is that we will have established Allurance for the first half of the last season and we will see Lance transition from what he wants to what he needs.

When Keith and Lance’s pictures popped up on each other’s game show lecterns on “The Feud,” that was surreal. I really had thought “oh what if they choose each other? That’d be wild, though it probably won’t hap- AAAAAAAAAA!!” And just thinking about how far they’ve come from their first interactions in S1E1, wow.
