In Amsterdam, on the famed 'Heineken corner' near Leidseplein, once stood this neon advertisement. The beer glasses fill up and hit eachother! The neon light goes on on the rhythm of the commercial tune. Made by firm Janse Lichtreclame.

Leidseplein is located in the heart of Amsterdam.
Looking towards the Leidseplein in Amsterdam and the Stadsschouwburg on the left. The Stadsschouwburg dates from 1894. But the history of the Amsterdam theater goes back much further, to 1638. The theater burned to the ground twice. And it was rebuilt. After a thorough renovation and the opening of a new state-of-the-art theater in 2009, it is ready for the theater of the future
