Anyway about the actual art, it's a bit messy but when is my art not. I'm trying to mess with how to draw Trolls in general but also these two goofballs. I think I might make Hickory a bit more beefy later as he is in the authors illustration but we will see!

Mostly I just wanted to draw the two because I miss them T^T and I needed more of John Dory being oblivious lol. Then I started thinking about how JD just picks people up sometimes and I was like how would he pick up Hickory? And I was like, like he would a critter so here we are-

That took me TOO LONG for my own sake bro( and I didn't even liked the result that much, damn💔)

As you may notice, I'm being very much experimental on this comic LOL, yet, I think this is far as I'll go on detail honestly 💔 I'll probably try a more simple format for the next parts just to be more productive ( I strongly dislike coloring & doing bgs... So we gonna figure out this along the way XD)

I'll take advantage that the scene is already well seated & focus more on the characters than the overalls.

Yet, ngl I think it was worth the effort! Got me really out of my comfort zone LOL!

being in love with an artist who continued to break barriers wasn't easy. touring meant you didn't see each other for long periods of time, only talking for an hour at the end of the night.

but you loved her, so it was worth it.

you'd been in a private relationship for one year and six months by this point. it was both of your decisions, though mainly K's decision to keep things private.

you knew how people could get. feeling like they had some sort of obligation to know every detail of an artist's life. and while kwn loved her fans, she hated feeling like her privacy was being invaded.

so you guys kept it under wraps.

there was no mention of your name. if asked in an interview, she'd make it known she wasn't single but didn't give away anything that would have people trying to look for you.

and you absolutely loved the privacy. K was softer when she spoke to you, gentle in a way that you'd never experienced before. her hands lingered on your body whenever you were near.

you were just as touchy, just as soft, just as gentle. and you loved when K was home. to the outside world, she wasn't very touchy, but with you, she couldn't get enough. physical touch was your love language, and over time, it became hers as well.

you'd been with K on tour a few times, though not as often as you'd liked because of work and other life obligations. nobody besides her team, family, and closest friends knew who you were, though.

at one point around the 10 month mark of your relationship, there was a video circulating of you standing on the side of the stage with a friend bopping along to the music.

everyone had desperately tried to figure out who you were, but with private accounts, and a quick shut down from K about "trying to dig into the lives of those that support me" the conversations surrounding your identity ended.

but now you were at the one-year and six-month mark, and K wanted to show you off. it wasn't something that was necessary, of course, but she wanted the world to know that she was yours.

"we can still be private as fuck. but i want everyone to know that i'm still yours. i want to show you off fuh real" she said one night after a long day

so you agreed. not just to make her happy, but you agreed to the idea that this would open doors to positivity and negativity. and you had to be ready for all of it.

K took her time, though. she talked to her manager about what she was going to do, talked with you more than once about the decision, and took her time finding a picture of you that she wanted to post.

and finally, she pressed the button.
