#leifs rustle #literally 95% of the hatred i felt towards yamiba was almost exclusively because of how the manga butchered his story #other 5% being just annoyed there's more merch of him than ryou but thats neither here not there #reading the manga ive come to tolerate him SO MUCH BETTER because the bakura's actually co-exist #and not just use ryou as solely a puppet for miiba's stupid ass plan #like #the anime made him so one dimensional from what i did see of him #and with that made every other character dumb as fucking rocks because they weren't allowed to see the difference between him and ryou--#as two different people #like idk they just watered miiba down so hard that his only schtick was to be “the evil thing that possesses ryou from school”#idk my thoughts are scattered #but thanks to the manga and this one specific doujinshi artist i like him significantly more than i use to #fuck the anime brah

sometimes i think im always so obnoxious about consuming ygo through the manga instead of the anime but then im reminded of how much the writers fucking hate the bakuras and yugi for no reason and then i feel more justified in not consuming it
