Dr. Westmoreland and his wife went on a short vacation/honeymoon and then soon settled in their quiet home on the island. Their second night back they received a visitor. Det. DeCaeser.
DET. "Hello, Dr. I was hoping to speak with Leigha."
GRAHAM- "It's Lee now, and I am her husband, and I think in the best interest of her emotional well-being, whatever you have to discuss, you should discuss with me."
DET.- "Uh, okay then..."
Just as she is about to explain the reason for her visit, Lee appears on the porch.
LEE- "Detective? Good evening. Are you here because of the attack?"
DET. - "Good, you remember me, yes, I was about to tell your husband the current state of the investigation. Can I continue Dr.?"
GRAHAM-. "Against my better judgment, but yes, go ahead I suppose, she deserves to know what is going on, even if she doesn't remember it."
DET.- "The investigation is over actually. We found Mr. Nicholson. He was outside of Oasis Springs, at an abandoned warehouse. He was found dead. An apparent heroin overdose. The toxicology report is not back, but a needle was found in his arm. He won't hurt you ever again, Miss...I mean Ms. Westmoreland.
LEE- "Thank you detective for coming all the way out here to advise me of this. I suppose I can now get on with my life. I am sure my husband can help you find your way out. Good day, and thanks again."
With that, Lee went back into the house and Graham walked the Detective to the edge of the property.
