Season 4-5 wukong is in such a weird situation (in my au). Imagine watching your formerly dead ex husband and the reincarnation of your dead wife get into a happy relationship and you aren’t included. Also they have kids together and one of those kids is technically yours so they are trying to coparent with you and despite your dead wife’s efforts your ex husband clearly doesn’t want to be there. Which is probably because you killed him and he tried to kill you. And also their oldest daughter is terrified of you because you almost killed her. Plus your trying to act like your relatively okay with this situation and don’t have literal sketchbooks filled with portraits of them that you drew while morning them. Insane

all the kids have wukong’s last name because macaque doesn’t have one and leilei isn’t immensely attached to hers.
