Spook Of The Day #097 • The ghost of a wounded John Leith still limps around Leith Hall

It happened 257 years ago. John Leith was shot in a drunken brawl in Aberdeen, a tragedy that could’ve been diverted by a whiskey or two.

He was brought home to Leith Hall for his death, surviving only 3 days after the shooting. But despite dying there, he certainly likes to make a lively presence.

He is still seen wandering the halls in dark green trousers and a shirt, but his smart attire contrasts with the bandage wrapped around his head and his hands covering his eyes as he winces in pain.

Ouch.
