Dhansukh Das Manik Lal Nahata Haveli
Located in Sardarshahar, a town in the Churu district of the Shekhawati region in Rajasthan, India, this 200-year-old Shekhawati haveli was restored without a single machine or chemical. Across three years, more than 50 craftspeople gradually revived a dream.
Its restoration and design project has been commissioned by Mahendra Nahata of HFCL to principal architects Deep Vaid of Eclectic Design India and Ritu Bhardwaj of Ritu B Designs.
The conservation experts SP Mathur and the late Yash Pratap Singh also worked with the team over three years, including the restoration artist Vishu Jangid and Vishal Baid on the client’s behalf.
