FINISHED THE LEMIRE RUN FINALLY AND I'M CRYING, THEY DID IT!

I didn't realize just how heavily influenced the series was from that run alone, it's 😚👌.

The switching between marc's past, the death of his parent, even fucking ammit being there!! It's awesome I LOVE IT SM, such an amazing read.

Even fucking khonshu saying "do you want death? Or do you want life?" I was like OMG FROM THE THE SHOW.

Idc about any of the runs after this, that ending is the true and canon ending and I'm not changing my mind cuz i need them to have a some what happy ending 🙏🙏.

I highly recommend it to MoonKnight fans, it's a must read!!!.

crawley in the lemire run is such an unstoppable force because not only can he see through the tricks of a god due to the copious amount of drugs he did as a youth, but he also shows no hesitation to sell his soul so his friends can get a ferry ride through space

I’m going to go ahead and say Marc’s obsession w getting his mask back in the Lemire run isn’t just bc he needs his full super suit, it’s also a comfort item. I mean, that’s not even a headcanon, I feel like that’s pretty implied, but I’m going to headcanon the reasons why

I mean for starters, it gives him strength and healing against those who hurt him but I think it’s more than that. The mask’s pretty tight and form fitting so it gives that gentle pressure that you would get from a weighted blanket or smth. And I bet it also does a pretty decent job at blocking out sight/sound and other outside stimulus. Going outside and big crowds of ppl don’t seem so scary anymore.

The only downsides I can see is it’s probably hard to breathe sometimes and that fabric better be the best texture in the world bc otherwise… it’s never going to be worn again
