I need a pick-me-up. Tell me how well you’re doing. Tell me how happy you are when you wake up in the morning with the sun shining through your window; revealing the speckles of dust that float around in the still air.

Tell me that when you sleep at night, that you no longer need to dry your eyes.  That your nightmares are replaced with motions of laughter and joy,  butterflies and the sweet sound of your voice  as you sing to the spring wind.

Tell me that when you walk inside a coffee shop that you no longer insist on buying two flat whites; that when the cute barista smiles at you and compliments your hair, that you blush and giggle.

Tell me that you learnt to finally make pancakes without the help of your trusty flipper; that you now practice so you can impress the next girl who gets the honour of waking up to your beautiful face in the morning; with the sun shining through your window, revealing the speckles of dust that resemble me and you.
