I do not see how they were trying to do that because wow, she was wearing a revealing outfit, but that's all?? she was hitting on men or lusting over them or any of that shit. her outfit suits her imo because she's a dragon and she's over a 1,000 years old and she isn't a child. she acts like one a lot, but, come on, she's not stupid.

While it's definitely true that she's more mature than she lets on, and that does make things much less skeevy, the audience doesn't know that from the outset. And, in fact, for most of the game they do see the front instead of the character behind it. They see a woman who physically looks like a little girl wearing a midriff and garters, acting like a child despite her age. You do have to wonder why the developers thought it to be necessary for Nowi to want to dress that way; remember that you did say that Nowi doesn't act overtly sexual at all outside her outfit. So what reason would she have?

As I said before, it's fine if Nowi herself wants to dress this way. However, think about the developer's intentions instead; why would the developers themselves want Nowi to dress this way, if she does not have a specific canonical reason for it?

You're right, it is just an outfit, and the game developers could have done MUCH worse. However, in an industry where lolicon pandering is very common, it's hard for me to just overlook the combination of her outfit and her initial attitude. If you can do it, however, that's fine; I'm just stating my outlook on the situation here.

Ye, but it's also a game being played by an audience in which marrying off twelve year olds is no longer universally acceptable. So even if it's normal within the context of the universe, people playing the game are still going to feel iffy about it since most people don't believe that most children aren't mature enough to fully grasp the concept of marriage.

Honestly though, most of my issues stem from the game trying to sexualize Nowi to the audience themselves (see: the character designer's choices with her outfit)
