I've actually never been camping before! We've done the mountain cabin thing, but never true camping. Maybe I'll make Barren River Lake my first time! :)
That facts post is super super cool! The Barren County fact is the main reason of why I'm proud of where I'm from. It makes me kind of sad that they're taking a lot of that land and turning it into apartments and subdivisions, but I understand that's part of growing. (Glasgow gets bigger and bigger every time I visit!)
I hope they still preserve some of the land! Seems silly to build a bunch of stuff on the state’s most fertile land. I’ve only seen pictures, but it looks beautiful out there. Always good to meet proud Kentuckians!!
