Headcanon

Rin and Len can communicate telepathically and like send each other mental images. They talk often like this and have secret conversations during Vocaloid meet-ups.

3, 12

Give me a number, and I will describe the physical characteristics of my character expressing it.

3 - Intense thought

For Len, it depends on what he’s thinking about. If it’s something normal or neutral, he’ll have a straight face and most likely be leaning his head on his hand if he’s sitting down. If it’s something upsetting, he’ll mostly likely have his eyebrows furrowed while he’s biting his lip and staring at his feet and holding his hands together. If it’s something that makes him happy, he’ll probably have a small grin that he’s trying not to let show on his face (but failing). All in all it really depends on how hard he’s thinking about it and what he’s thinking about in general.

With Rin, it also depends on the kind of thoughts she’s having, but her emotions with it won’t be as repressed as Len tries to be with his. If it’s a happy one, she’ll probably have a wide grin on her face and she’ll giggle from time to time. If it’s upsetting, she’ll probably have her eyes narrowed and she might be doing something with her hands, such as holding onto her wrist.

12 - Fear

It depends on how scary it is with Len, once more. If it’s mildly creepy, he’ll probably just lean away from it and shut his eyes or tense up. If it’s really scary to him, he’ll probably freeze up and not move, and his eyes will probably get wider. If it gets any worse than that the possibility that he’ll cry comes into play.

Honestly, the same goes for Rin, again. If it’s mildly creepy she’ll lean away a bit and try to laugh it off. If it’s really scary to her, she’ll cling to the nearest person, most likely shaking a bit. Any worse than that and she’ll leave the room, most likely trembling horribly.

Headcanon; When Len gets close enough or starts dating somebody he gets quite affectionate with them, like falling asleep on them or randomly leaning his head on their shoulder (if they're okay with it)

He's bad at telling what gender someone is unless it's blatantly obvious. Sometimes he questions whether Rin should have been the boy.
