Lena and Roman? Can I do two?
The best way to describe the way Lena smells is just clean. She smells clean. Sometimes there's a lingering hint of cigarette smoke, but she tries really hard to keep that smell out of her clothes.
How they sleep (sleeping position, schedule, etc):
Because of Lena's mutation, she tends to sleep pretty early and wake up with the sun. She's definitely not much of a night owl. She sleeps in a pretty settled position, on her side and curled up under a ton of blankets. She rarely moves and rarely wakes up in the night.
Lena will listen to anything calm. She likes a lot of mellow indie musicians and classical music. Anything that sounds like Civil Wars or Bright Eyes. She also really likes Explosions in the Sky.
How much time they spend getting ready every morning:
For. Ever. It can seriously take her an hour to get ready to go to class in the morning. If she's going somewhere important it might take two. Dates? Please, she's getting ready hours in advance. High School prom? She probably started getting ready the night before. The funny thing is, when she's going to class, she puts entirely too much effort into making sure that she looks like she didn't put all that much effort into her appearance at all.
Their favorite thing to collect:
Books. Lena looooves books. Especially used ones. She has more books than she has shelf space for and they literally take up her entire livingspace. Used books are her favorites for a lot of reasons. Mostly because they're cheap. Four or five dollars for something that would cost her twenty new? Definitely going for the former. And because sometimes she'll get one where the previous owner had annotated and written notes and that's something she always loves reading. It's also worth noting that Lena isn't anal retentive about the condition of her books. She wears them out. Dog ears pages, bends covers back, writes ALL OVER them. Her books are all very well loved.
Christian, but mostly agnostic.
Lena doesn't know anything about sports. In her head, they're literally all the same (people chase a ball and points yay!)
Favorite touristy thing to do when traveling (museums, local food, sightseeing, etc):
Shopping. She wants to find the best local shopping center of every place she visits. Even if she's strapped for cash, she'll still browse until her legs give out.
Favorite kind of weather:
The more sunlight the better.
A weird/obscure fear they have:
Small spaces, mostly. She's mildly claustrophobic. And if the small space is also dark her heart will get really racy and she'll get really jumpy.
The carnival/arcade game they always win without fail:
She never had much interest in games as a kid. When she went to a carnival the only thing she cared about was getting her face painted. I don't really know if you can win at that.
Old Spice. Not much else to explain there.
How they sleep (sleeping position, schedule, etc):
Roman runs on about four hours of sleep a night during the week. He "catches up" on sleep on the weekends. Don't even try to explain to him that that's not how the body's natural sleep cycle works because he'll just show you his stock of energy drinks and tell you that he's got it covered. As far as positions go, Roman tosses and turns a lot in his sleep and will usually end up tangled in his blankets laying face down with his pillows knocked off the bed. He's also fallen off his bed more times than he can count.
Lots of rap music, some mainstream, some pretty obscure. He likes remixes too, anything with a cool beat or something complex. He's just as much of a nerd about his music as he is everything else in his life. He gets really bored of artists who do the same thing over and over again and he likes a level of intelligence in his music.
How much time they spend getting ready every morning:
Almost none. He doesn't spend a lot of time doing anything. He just showers and throws on some clothes from his drawers and leaves.
Their favorite thing to collect:
It wasn't a conscious decision to start collecting them and he's not even sure where they all came from. But somehow, Roman has accrued more computers and computer parts than he knows what to do with. Most are old and no longer functional but he's kind of afraid to throw them away because he might need a piece and better a crappy one that needs a little repair than nothing right?
Christian, but it's not a huge part of his life.
Roman likes to watch Hockey, but he's never gotten really fanatical about a team and he certainly doesn't play.
Favorite touristy thing to do when traveling (museums, local food, sightseeing, etc):
Concerts. Pretty much the only thing Roman travels for is if a band he wants to see is playing somewhere close.
Favorite kind of weather:
Is "nice" weather considered a lazy response? Because that's his answer. He likes when the sun is shining but it's not too cold or too hot.
A weird/obscure fear they have:
Roman really, really, REALLY doesn't like bees. Or wasps. Or anything that can sting him. What the fuck are these demon creatures and why are they trying to put their butts in him he doesn't understand but he hates them.
The carnival/arcade game they always win without fail:
Roman would be super good at guessing games and probably the bottle ring toss.
