I would love to know more about Tann!
Tann was born a little before the end of the clone wars to 79s bartender my OC Lenani and Crosshair the one and only bastard of The Bad Batch. She spent her younger years living in Coruscant under the Empire, but around age 4 her mom and dad decided it was time to leave, thus (at least in this fun story) her dad reconnecting with the batch and getting the hell out of dodge. Spending her childhood jumping from planet to planet, she never really got close to anyone except her clone uncles, and being immersed in their culture (a mix of mandalorian and clone centric). Her mom, originally from Ryloth, never really taught her their own culture of their people (twileks) because she was heartbroken at the potential loss of her parents and siblings (had heard from them in years.)
Tann grew up learning how to shoot with her dad, and is not a bad marksman herself. Her uncle Tech taught her some basic tech skills and built her own mini version of the family pet Gonky. GonkyGonky (Gonky 2) was the only real friend she had. Hunter was always the strict one and a little overprotective of her, Uncle Wrecker was her favorites. He would always take her on dangerous adventures behind her moms back and always took the fall when she'd get in trouble. Uncle Echo was her safe place to complain and talk things through that bothered her, especially when other kids would make fun of her for being different. He taught her how to be confident in herself. Aunty Omega was the fun one, and always made sure to spend girl time together as Tann got older
Her relationship with her parents was overall great. She was a daddys girl, but not in the traditional sense. He was overprotective, but knew if she really needed to she could handle herself. Her and her mom butted heads in the typical mother/daughter way. Her personality is the perfect mix of the two. She is direct and blunt, like her father and compassionate and social like her mother. She is a tough love but for a good reason protagonist.
when she was around 14, her dad and the others went off to fight in the rebellion full time, leaving her and her mom to fend for themselves and help other refugee families get to safety. this is where things with Lenani and Tann really start to get rough, up until they are attacked by storm troopers mid load up on a transport. This is where I currently have Lenani's story ending and Tanns story beginning in this bit below:
I left it open because I really dont know where I want Tanns story to really go at the end of the rebellion. She eventually finds her dad, where he tells her if she needs to fight, he supports her 100%. And thats what she does. She joins a crew of fighters, and does many odd jobs from infiltration to spying. Eventually she meets another OC of mine, named Oza- a red Twilek who is also in the rebellion- and after a rough start between the two, she starts learning more about her moms people and herself. Her and Oza slowly fall for one another and at the end of the rebellion, both of them survive. And from there I really don't know! I'm slowly getting it together!
