Fighting the final boss went like...

I did end up putting it on the highest difficulty but it was still just bullying a man in his castle for two and a half phases.

Which might be my fault for over preparing.

He has three phases BUT I don't think he can ACTUALLY hit you in the third. Which just sapped what little tension the fight had.

I can't fault it on spectacle though, devs went ham with some fun shonen shit. Seeing the mana gauge fill up on the side of the screen during the cutscene was pretty cool I love when video games do that.

Was so SO happy to finally see Yumia use her energy powered high heels to axe kick someone into the ground. Been waiting the whole game to see that.

The game gives you way too many tools to make yourself stronger, so really not sure how'd you go about balancing that aside from give enemy really REALLY biiiiigggg numbers. Which I think is the most boring way to do it.

Lenja's level up animation is her getting head pats and it's really very good.

Your last party member is a dog? fox? bunny? girl.

Her 'level up' animation has her getting pats on the head from Yumia.
