In the uk it was even reported that "according to the USA news reports he was affiliated with Isis" and then briefly skimmed over that this hasn't been confirmed by any credible source but then they continued to talk about it? Like way to make this about fear mongering and more bigotry and hated even though that's what led to these deaths to begin with

Wow. That’s a particular brand of disgusting. Here they basically just keep cutting out the parts from Obama’s speech about hate and terrorism and everything that could be interpreted as it being an ISIS terrorist attack and they have made a montage of it that paints this in the worst light possible. All while ignoring the targeted group and where the shooting took place. so like you said, way to use this absolute tragedy and the fact that 50 people died to further your islamophobic agenda, when this hateful way of thinking is exactly what caused it.

Meanwhile everyone is blaming the victims for being in a gay bar and saying it’s God’s will. So there’s also that. How the fuck to people get off speaking about a tragedy and targeting one religion’s homophobic views while being no better themselves, I do wonder..

Volg je de opleiding Rechten op de HvA of Uva? of ergens anders? :D

HS Leiden als alles volgens plan gaat. Het is een lotingsopleiding dus ik moet nog horen of ik uiteindelijk ben aangenomen. Zit wel in een goede pool dus heb wel kans maar je weet het nooit dus ik ben super zenuwachtig nu. xD Maar toelatings examen is iig gehaald dus ik ben een stapje dichterbij.
