I always recommend Fringe. It's sort of a sci-fi cop show but just so much more than that. The writing is really tight, the mythology very interesting and the acting, amazing. Plus you'll end up shipping Olivia and Peter so hard for sure lol. It's a finished show, it had 100 episodes and I think out of all of them, there were only a handful that were so-so ones.

true story: when I read JMo's post my reaction was to be thankful because now I can be totally free from this shit show. Emma (and CS) was the only thing that kept me watching. To me, OUAT ended yesterday.

right? like we’re freeeee! but also i still think we deserved better.

(you can answer publicly if you want) i mean, i understand why focus on a snow/regina relationship. its history is complex and, let's face it, snow is the person who gets regina the most and who knew pre-EQ regina. so a friendship between them could work very well. the problem is that it's done in an abuse-coddling sort of way and completely neglecting snow/emma. it's as if the writers had to choose one of those snow relationships instead of developing both.

One Regina/ Snow scene wouldn’t have bothered me so much. If the first scene with Snow had been with Emma, and the second with Regina it would have been fine. It’s just this consistent need to have Snow separated from Emma in any way possible. The writers have gone out of their way, in my opinion, to show that Emma is “daddy’s girl”. Her emotional scenes are with David. Any scenes with her parents are with David. 

I have an issue fundamentally with the Snow/Regina friendship as it is. I don’t know how you have a friendship with someone who inflicted the worst pains in your life on you. Your father dying, having to be on the run, outrunning a curse, being separated from your child, not being able to watch your child grow. I think forgiveness is great. I think the notion of Snow being a strong enough person to say, “You know what I forgive you and I don’t need to see you hurt for what you did” is great. But the idea  that she lets her into her life and makes Regina more of a priority than Emma just rubs me the wrong way. If there’s a wedge between Snow and Emma it’s because Emma and Snow can’t relate to each other as mother and daughter. That’s because of Regina. 

When you have two Snow scenes in an episode directly following the near death of her daughter and not one of them involves said daughter it’s problem. She didn’t mention relief over Emma being okay, she didn’t mention how scared she had been. Nothing. She jumped straight into Regina’s love life and it bugs me to no end.

i just hope they manage to wrap up all of this and still have time to give Emma’s Savior arc and Captain Swan a decent resolution

Presumably a chunk of the Savior story will be addressed in Agrabah, and probably another chunk via the Gideon plot. And CS will get their happy ending. :)

@swanjones I’m seriously trying to chill, but people are making me so mad with their “superior” opinions.  This happens every time there’s a split in the fandom, and I’ve just about reached my limit.
