Lennox comes from a southern family, her parents married after her father's first wife died. She has an half sister whom was from her father's deceased wife, and she has an half brother from her mother's ex husband. She was the youngest and always got away with everything. She moved away from home and attended college in New York, and worked as a bartender on the side.

When she was eighteen she and her high school sweet heart got married. Jimmy was her heart and soul, they had grown up together. But after they were married and alone he changed. Not being the warm and loving self, he turned abusive and cold towards her. As he began drinking she slipped sleeping pills into his beer and once he was asleep, he died. The sleeping pills and the alcohol and drugs he had been taking killed him. It was ruled a accidental death, but in reality Lennox killed him.
