this is an incredibly satsifying fic to read, with a realistic take on lenore dove and effie's relationship (spoiler: lenore dove is NOT a fan and she takes down effie a few pegs for acting like she knows haymitch), it's also an incredibly sweet and poignant exploration of a universe where everything else happens like it did in canon, but lenore dove lives, and the way that she supports haymitch after his games + losing his family is incredibly moving + in character. highly recommend!
