Look, man, if those adaptations where Dracula and Mina love each other have the right to exist then so do my rareships. I at least am not getting paid for deliberately misinterpreting the source material.

I kinda like the ship LukaxLen. Like in my mind I like the idea of Len having a crush on Luka and then growing up and becoming a man (If he stops dying first... damn you Len) and starts to get really romantically involved with Luka. Something about a relationship involving the two seems some what mature rather than LenxMiku or LenxRin. I don’t know I just kind of like that ship
Daily Writing Project - Day 7
Luka grumbled under her breath as she shoved her numb hands into her pockets and flexed her fingers, willing blood to flow back into her extremities. She shrugged her shoulders up so the her scarf covered her ears and nose, providing her with a margin of much needed warmth. A few seconds later she was rocking on her heels, hoping that a little bit of motion would warm her despite the biting winds.
Where the hell was that train?
For what must have been the hundredth time in the past ten minutes, she craned her neck to look down the train platform and train track, but she was greeted with a deserted platform and no train. Of course it was deserted - anyone with half a brain was inside cuddling by a fire and doing everything in their power to avoid going outside in the Antarctic weather.
So of all the days in the world, of course this was the one where Len was coming back from school; of course they grew up in the boondocks where the trains were never on time even in the best of weather; of course their train station's idea of 'adequate protection from the elements' was a steel awning that was more for decoration that anything.
Of course, of course, of course.
Silently fuming to herself, she contemplated sending Len a text message and telling him to just come over to her house, but then a pang of guilt would strike her. Back when she was still in college, Len would wait for her in all types of weather and not once had he let her come home to an empty train station. So even though most times she couldn't last for more than a few seconds in the cold, she huddled under the makeshift awning as best she could as she snuggled into her layers upon layers of clothing.
By the time the train pulled into the station, the sky had already begun to darken and Luka's body groaned in protest as she forced it to move from under the awning's protection. The wind produced by the train made her hair whip about wildly as she cursed the cold weather once again.
However, as the train pulled to a stop and the doors opened, Luka's complaints completely fled as she saw that tell-tale mop of blonde hair. Her body moved far faster than she thought possible as she rushed to the younger boy and pulled him into a hug.
"I-It's good to see you as well Luka," he commented as he returned the gesture, his voice still clearly uncertain. After all, no matter how much sh assured him that it didn't bother her in the least, the boy still maintained a rather strong complex about the six year age gap and height difference that separated the two of them.
"It's good to see you as well, but if I'm being honest here, then I'm pretty sure half of what motivated me to hug you was that my body was seeking the nearest source of warmth."
"Well, I mean, if you're cold, I did get you something..."
As the boy spoke, he untangled Luka from his embrace and held something out to her. When Luka saw what it was, a warm smile lit her face.
"And you're all worried that you don't make a good boyfriend," She admonished teasingly as she took the paper cup filled with coffee from the boy's hands. Normally she would have allowed the coffee to serve as a make-shift hand warmer, but she had been standing in the cold long enough that now that a hot drink was in front of her, she immediately began to chug it down.
The coffee was weak and watery, was so hot that it burned her tongue, and was far from what could be considered even half-way decent. But as she chugged it down, color flushed her cheeks and warmth spread through her body. She lowered her head to find Len staring at her and blinking slowly, clearly confused by the gusto with which she had ingested the coffee.
"I...guess coffee was a good idea, huh?" Len asked sheepishly as he scratched at the back of his head.
"It was one of the best presents I could have asked for. Now I suppose it's only fair that you get your reward."
Still holding the now-empty coffee cup in her hands, she pulled the young boy into a hug. He stammered for several seconds as he looked up at the taller girl who currently had him locked in an embrace. Suddenly his face became super serious as he began to raise himself on his tip-toes in order to reach Luka's lips.
A smile crossed Luka's expression for a moment before their lips met, the taste of cheap train coffee coloring Len's welcome home kiss. -------------------------------------------------- This whole thing was based on this picture I drew quite some time ago:
