omg hiiiiii yes you can <3 bear with me. it’s set during the period right after the war, when eichi’s in the hospital and shu is self-isolating from a nervous breakdown. and eichi has a fever dream about an alternate universe where he isn’t an idol and instead funds the idol industry without being on the stage and he meets shu and valkyrie at a meeting for potential investment and he is so enchanted by her art that he has to invest in her now but shu? shu doesn’t take money from capitalists who know nothing about art. they meet again at a gala of some kind and eichi asks shu for a dance to try and convince her of his passion and resolve and one thing leads to another and they have a romantic midnight tryst. and the whole time this romantic alternate universe is being juxtaposed with vignettes from the war itself, of eichi deciding to target shu as an eccentric and their gradual coming together into the blaze and sputter of valkyrie’s demise and snippets of the current day reality, of a broken shu forgoing mika’s help and a sick eichi trying to see if he is still needed in the world
