You know, that just might be. A hot two seconds ago, I was rooting for them to get back together. Like, together together. But then I saw Leo flirting with a few here and there. Does a committed man do that? Jac, honey, if you’re listening, it’s time to move on. This is your sign.

Who do you think are the most interesting people here? / Who can't you wait to find out more about and why?

Thankfully, everyone has kept me interested enough to keep my job here at the radio station. But here’s a list (in alphabetical order) of who I can’t wait to find out more about:

ALEX VERNETTI: I mean, come on! This one is a no-brainer! From what I hear, she died to get out of being a mother. What kind of person does that? Were notes and goodbye texts not available during her time?

AMIR ZEHRI: Okay, because Amir is, well, Amir, I can say that I am a little curious to know a redeeming quality. Someone overheard him in the apartment lobby the other day, screaming not so nice things towards a certain Katerina Mason. From what I hear, things were not pretty.

ISABELLA ARCHIBALD: She’s got some spunk to her, I’d give you that.

LEO EDWARDS: Right now, all he is is a perfectly good political man with good intentions. I wonder what he keeps under those well-ironed button-down shirts of his.

OLIVER MIKAELSON: DILF with a capital S for single, mind you. Not that he seems interested in anybody but his dead wife. Let’s hope she doesn’t pull an Alex --- or should we hope that?

ROHAN LAWSON: The resident starving artist who has methods in keeping the muse going. Fairly new to town and barely with any money. Also has anger issues. Let’s see where that takes him.

ROSA DIAZ: Currently my girl of the moment. Hear me out. She’s feisty, she’s not afraid to speak her mind, and she denies that she’s cute when she is! Count me in!

SKYE RICKARDS: She seems immune enough to the attempts --- I mean, charms --- of Brett Chase. I like that about her. She’s not too hard on the eyes either.

What's the what with you and Leo?

A small laugh escaped Jac as the question was thrown her way. “What’s the what?” If she could pretend she didn’t understand, then she wouldn’t have to answer. If she could act as though she didn’t know the question, then she could say she didn’t know the answer. “He’s my boyfriend! I’m his, uh ---” However, even in her act, she couldn’t say the right words. “I’m his --- his --- his, you know! We’re, um, together!”

do you ever think about moving out?

A small smile bloomed on Jac’s lips --- the kind that was so obviously hurting, the kind that was so obviously attempting to keep it all together. But, despite this, the answer on her lips was soft. “No, I don’t,” she said. “I can’t leave Leo behind. I won’t do that.”

what happened between you and leo?

“I don’t--- I don’t---- I, uh, don’t know.” As Jac took in the question given her, she realized that her stammering was the most truthful thing she could come up with. Because, at the end of the day, at the end of all this, she didn’t know. She didn’t know where she went wrong. She knew it was her, that she had become difficult to love, that she had showed her ugly insides and pushed him away, but she didn’t know where. Or when. Or how. It happened nonetheless, though. It happened nonetheless, and maybe that was enough of an answer on its own. “It just happened. I guess--- I guess, you know, as a child, you believe in love and in happy endings. And then you grow up. You grow out of it. You learn that soulmates aren’t real, and something wakes you up and you just... snap out of it. I guess that’s what happened to him.”
