#MiqoMarch Day 1 : Introduction
i'm a day late and a dollar short, but here's leo! his original name is Taako Fromtv (Dynamis > Maduin) but i got attached and made him into an oc.
What are some of your OC's coping mechanisms during stressful or overwhelming periods in their life? / both cattos!
Leo
Leo heavily depends on Gemini. The two of them are pretty codependent upon one another, and being apart for any length of time sends Leo into a depressive spiral. His years in the First without Gemini were incredibly difficult for him, and he basically pulled inwards and barely talked to anyone.
Strangely enough, during that time, he came to depend on the Exarch of all people in a similar way that he depends on Gemini. This is mostly because the Exarch is genuinely kind to him and wants him to feel better. Though Leo kind of flips out once Gemini gets there and the Exarch begins filling her up with corrupted Light aether. :3
G'azih
G'azih's been alone for most of his life. He left home when he was 8 and lived with one of his brothers for a year before his mother came and fetched him, after which he grew up alone without any of his siblings. His mother worked very hard to support him in Limsa Lominsa, and he soon had to get his own job to help her. Therefore, he tends to keep to himself when he has problems, relying mostly on himself to get by.
G'azih is prone to fits of annoyance and anger when he is particularly stressed out or if things don't go the way they're supposed to. But he also has a tendency to lock up and burn his bridges when he's particularly stressed out or hurt.
Are there any places or people your OC is avoiding? / leo!
Oh, yeah. He avoids Ishgard on the whole specifically because he doesn't want to face the Fortemps family. They're basically his in-laws, but he doesn't want to deal with them while they're all grieving (himself included), and after time passes and wounds heal, it's just that things have gotten awkward between them.
In verses where he has a son with Haurchefant, though, he makes the effort to let his kid see his other father's family.
