Summary:

Evelyn can finally plan for a life with Severus without any more secrets between them. Or almost. Virgil and Leo work through some things, while Severus and the trio are finally on their way to get their hands on Salazar Slytherin's grimoire. But when things seem too easy, there's always a catch.

After a long wait, chapter 66 is up and FINALLY Severus is going to come clean with Evelyn about magic and everything. So buckle up, because everything is going to change now.

“Evelyn Black looked different from the photo Leo had seen, obviously, with the tan and the long, flowy dress. He smiled, making himself look friendly and relaxed. She seemed concerned enough with their presence. From the corner of his eye he caugh the faint discomfort in Virgil. He had put his sunglasses back on, and taken a step back, wether on purpose or unconsciously Leo didn’t know.

This woman really did rattle him, Leo could see. But he didn´t know yet why. It would be easy to think Virgil had 'the hots' for her, as he had put it. Leo knew Virgil´s preferences when it came to women, and Evelyn Black matched them. He liked his women hyperfeminine, charming, smart. It wasn´t the only thing he liked, but he really did like it. When it came to men,  the very few Leo had known of, things got a bit fuzzier. Over the years he had started to notice Virgil gravitate toward the same type...older, unavailable, emotionally distant...and at least a couple of them faintly resembled their former potions master.

Leo knew Virgil was troubled by whatever it was that he was feeling, in a way Leo hadn´t seen in a while. Evelyn Black wasn´t just any woman, that much was clear. In any other scenario Leo wouldn´t doubt Shafiq was interested in her, but Severus Snape’s presence muddied the waters. Leo couldn´t quite tell was wether that was simply because Virgil had happened to have actually fallen for her, or if it was something more complicated than that. Something to do with Snape and Virgil´s whole...’admiration’ for him.”

Leo: I just got a strongly worded letter from my mum, because I missed Passover to be here helping you get Salazar’s grimoire.

Virgil: Ok, you win.

A little writing exercise...

So, lately I´ve noticed that no matter how simple and short I want to write a story, it always ends up getting entirely out of my control and I always write myself into a corner after filling pages and pages and pages worth of stuff.

That´s why I decided to do a little exercise and I need your help.

Here´s a list of prompts, pick your favorite. 

I´ll take the prompt that has more votes and write a ONE-PAGE story (times new roman 12, single space). Let´s see if I can do it.

1-Soren gets grounded

2- An event from Virgil Shafiq and  Leo Levinson´s student years.

3-A tender moment between Severus and Sophia

4-Severus and Evelyn get divorced AU

5-Severus being a cool uncle.
