Your song and headcanon are below the cut because of a few Black Clover anime spoilers.

For Leo, Fuegoleon, and Mereoleona I have chosen the song "Nightfire" by Juniper Vale. It's one of those songs that is probably intended as a love song but it doesn't specify that it's necessarily a romantic one. In this context, I am of course imagining it as a platonic, familial love, and I think it works really well for the Fire Vermillions siblings (and not just because of the fire imagery though that is just an added bonus) because this is really a song about being there to build up and support each other even through the darkness of life's difficulties and sufferings which is something I like to think is a big part of the Vermillions' sibling bond with each other. Additionally, I kind of see glimpses of each of them in specific lines. I think the hopeful optimism of lines like "I know the morning’s close, although this night just goes and goes" and "at the blush of dawn wе’ll be okay" really suits Leo whereas lines like "Lately love’s on the run so let’s race until we’ve found it" and "A wild world sharpens its claws/As the nightfirе burns the shadows fade" remind me of Mereoleona. And I especially love the encouragement and reassurance of the line "You and I have the light to fight away the darkness" and it really reminds me very much of Fuegoleon. ❤️‍🔥

Here's a Vermillion Siblings headcanon inspired by this song:

The Vermillion siblings used to enjoy watching the sunrise together, and even when they were apart from each other and missed each other, they would sometimes watch the sunrise wherever they were in the world and think of each other.

After Fuegoleon awoke from his coma, the three siblings all ended up watching the sunrise together though they hadn't planned it that way (they had all just happened to be awake and ran into each other when they were planning to individually watch the sunrise at the Crimson Lions headquarters). Though they didn't really express it with their words, they didn't need to: they knew that it meant the world to them to be able to watch one more sunrise all together again.

“Hurry, Leo, the door!” You shouted at your friend as you ran into the small shed.  You tried to catch your breath as you watched Leo quickly close the door so the cold and snow didn’t come in. 

Once Leo was sure that it was closed, he sighed out and laughed. “I can’t believe that blizzard just came out of nowhere!” he exclaimed, his chest heaving with each laugh. You smiled along with him, the sound of his hearty laughter filling you with joy.

“Yeah, it really did, and I’m not too keen on cold weather.” Leo eased up on the chuckling and took a long hard look into your eyes. He didn’t say anything, but you could tell he wanted to say something. You cocked your head to the side, though you didn’t press him further, and gazed over to your side, seeing how empty it was. Choosing to be a little courageous, you patted the empty seat, indicating you wanted him to sit to you. 

Leo didn’t quite understand what you were gesturing, but he moved closer nonetheless. “Do you need a fire to keep warm?” he asked, lighting up his hand with a flame warm enough to keep you both from freezing. The red haired boy smirked and let the fire get a little bigger before he fully got comfortable next to you.

“Do you like blizzards, Leo? Seeing as you are a fire wizard, I would think not.” you asked your friend, and watched as he looked to the side in thought. He then shook his head, his nose scrunching up cutely. 

“No, not really! Well, not when I’m in it, but from afar I think they are pretty cool!” he answered, giving you a dazzling smile. You giggled and nodded in agreement. 

And so, you sat with Leo, just talking and chatting about anything and everything. Sometimes, he would whisper his secrets and you would do that same, inching closer to him, afraid someone might listen in. You would notice that each time you got closer to him, the fire in his hand would spark and get bigger, like it was imitating the way his heart was beating, growing in warmth. The thought made you smile to yourself, your own affection for him growing as well. 

As the night grower colder, and the storm only grew stronger, you could tell the fire in Leo’s hand was starting to lose it’s energy. And with a sigh, you put a hand on his shoulder, “Here, Leo, I have a blanket we can use, so you can put your fire out.”

“Huh?! But-- no wait! It’s too early!” he exclaimed, his face red. You raised an eyebrow.

“What do you mean ‘it’s too early’?”

“Ah! Uh, well, my brother told me that when two people--”

“You know what? I don’t want to hear it. I’m cold, your fire is burning out, and there is really no choice here, so-” you dug through your bag that you had brought with you (in case of emergencies) and pulled out a blanket. It wasn’t that big, but it was doable for what needed to be done. 

“Wait, you had a blanket this whole time?”

“Yes, no more questions, just follow.” Leo watched as you crawled to a corner and leaned your body against the wall, and once again, patted the empty space next you, while also holding the blanket out to him. 

He sat there for a few seconds, and just gazed at you. And when you thought he was frozen from the cold, he sucked in a breath and scrabbled to be by your side. You couldn’t tell of he was breathing when he snuggled up against you, wrapping his arms around your midsection, but with the way he looked so happy, you didn’t dare ask. Chuckling silently, you laid the blanket over his body as he rested his head on your chest. 

“I hope this storm goes on forever.” he whispered to you, holding you tighter. You had half a mind to say retort something back, but the way his voice trembled at the end of his sentence and the way he held you, it wouldn’t be the best move. So, instead, you nodded and hugged him back.

You knew he wouldn’t see the nod, but in the back of your head, you agreed with him.
