Hey, sorry I’m not active on this blog rn, I’d like to get back into the swing of things soon!

But, besides that, here is an impromptu photo shoot of Leo! I almost never take him out except to weigh him and check for stuck shed every now and again; he still hates to be handled, but is a very tolerant boy! His shedding has improved, though his weight and lack of activity has stayed about the same. He’s definitely chunky, but he holds it well and eats, drinks, passes like a healthy animal should so I’ve been just letting him be as he prefers.

TL;DR Leo is a good geck having an okay time!

#Leopard gecko #Leo-#I deep cleaned his tank and he was not amused #Wriggled all over the place while I was checking him over #But what's new with this boy really y'know?#Mr. Hands-Off is still his usual grumpy self #Also his weight loss plan has gone wrong and he's gained weight 😩#So gotta limit his diet more #I might switch him to a every two day meal tbh #He's hardly moving after all #But I've really started tank searching #I might try to shoot for late next month so buy something with more floor space #Soon anyways... soon

A big boyo!! I had Leo out while I was changing the paper towel in his moist hide and he was uncomfy as ever 😩 He got a quick look over where I checked him for stuck shed/injuries/etc., took some pics, and then he got to go back to his warm hide. Wish I could get his trust up but I really don't think he'll ever like being handled, but that's alright, every animal is different.

#Leopard gecko-#Leo-#He's still getting minimal exercise 😔#Even with the new additions to his tank #But he's getting a new tank this coming year with more floor space #So hopefully that'll help encourage exploration #He's doing good otherwise however!#Eats drinks and poops like a healthy animal #So I think he'll hold out okay until the new tank #Needs a sauna trip to help with the shed on his feeties tho #He'll get one tomorrow #I give him max one handling session per day

I wanted to check Leo's temps and the dork started hunting the laser! I'd be too scared of him getting it in his eyes to do this normally so I'm not planning on messing with him on purpose again. But it was cute while it lasted!

#Leopard gecko #Leo-#He's such a nerd I love him #What a dork #I just went out to get crickets so I bought him a ladder too #Though I'm thinking of adding more support to it so he doesn't fall through it #I'll do that later today if I have the materials #I feel like every time I go to PetSmart I come home with a bird ladder smh #EDIT: Temps were 90 btw #I thought maybe they were low but I guess not #His lethargy is starting to make me nervous but still eats and poops #And he MOVES when he hunts stuff in the tank #So idk what's up with him #But y'know #Adding more decor and stuff I'm hoping will get him moving more

Vanessa has been in the spotlight a lot, being the new baby, so have a reminder that Leo is also the cutest reptile around town!
