It had been two weeks since Leo had found out her secret and it had been two weeks since she had seen or spoken to him. After a few days when she hadn’t heard a word from him, she told Lian not to call the man anymore and he must have sensed how serious she was about this because he never did. Of course, this made him sad but he was a kid, she knew he needed time and would get over it eventually, although she hated that she had to do this to him.

It was a typical weekday morning and it was a morning where Cindy didn’t have a shift at the cafe she worked at during the day, so after taking Lian to school, she had planned to stay at home with Yuri and maybe clean the house a little bit. After only an hour of being at home with Yuri after dropping Lian off at school, the little girl grew tired and fell asleep on the couch and Cindy had just covered her with a blanket when she heard a knock at her door. 

She paused, trying to think if she was expecting anyone but her mind drew a blank. Cautiously, she went to the door and opened it and froze when she saw who was there. It was Leo. “What are you doing here?” she blurted out, the surprise of the situation getting the better of her.
