Hey :) I have a question concerning the first episode of season 3 of homeland. Who did Saul and his team actually kill ? At the trial the chairman says they were civilians and didn't order the attack on Langley so what did they actually do ? thanks :)

They killed people who were involved with the orchestration of the attack. For example, Peter Quinn killed the banker -- I'm guessing the person who transferred or kept the funds that financed the attack (but not actually the person who financed the attack). Another they were killing was a courier. The two people they did not kill are Brody, the "poster boy" for the attack, and Javadi ("the Magician"), who was the "mastermind"--the two most important people.

I didn't really understand the civilians remark, because aren't all terrorists civilians? Maybe he meant that since the terrorist attack was state-funded, they didn't go after Iranian military officials or something?
