Doctor Who 14.15

Big step up in quality. This is superb.

The first two episodes were good, very good, but this is great.

Firstly, we get the full details of what is actually happening, as the Doctor remembers/recounts what he actually did on his first visit to this place/planet and how it has all gone horribly wrong, since that visit. Quite frankly, it is a supremely clever idea for a story. And the execution here is flawless.

Secondly, we are basically looking at the practitioners of a religion who have come face to face with their ‘god’ and have immediately rejected him, because they don’t much like what he has to say.

Leela continues to kick ass and impress.

Much more story time time, but less humour. Only a quip or two from the Doctor. The tone is much more serious now.
