Clowning around and showing off the Prism NPCs that showed up in Lei's backstory. We have the anxious little Melissa Balm, the drop-dead gorgeous Gigi Legris, and the tired AF Leon Lopez. Whom I might redesign a bit. Gigi Legris was indeed Lei's bestie when she was in the Middle district (Uptown/Downtown)... She tends to call girls she's close to "sweetie, honey, or darling" Depending on how she feels about them. She rarely does this with her male friends unless they're really close or something.
Melissa Balm, a 28 year old synthesis specialist (which Lei is also). She was moved to the Prism clinic in the slums some time after Lei was, likely maybe a year to six months prior to the start of the campaign. She is very shy and anxious (which is probably the reason she got demoted) and generally like a nervous little puppy. She's probably around Ceres' height if not shorter. Lei thinks she's cute (Lei likes small, cute things, especially when she thinks they resemble animals) but does get frustrated sometimes with how Melissa seems to not follow instructions/protocol (also possibly why she got demoted LOL). She is possibly the youngest worker at the clinic and on her off days she probably likes to draw. In my headcanons she also speaks to Ceres a little XD (who also likes to draw. She has pretty bubbly, neat writing (Cuz she and Lei need to label flasks and whatnot. She might forget to label them sometimes XD)
Leon Lopez, a 32 year old general doctor. He was the one who got moved to the slums because he was late to work a few times. The reason why he was late was actually because his father was sick and he was taking care of him. What happened to his father? (Well, he probably died... sorry Leon). He has the signature horrible doctor handwriting that is illegible to most people, which frustrates Lei whenever she has to read anything he's written. Although he comes off as cold and arrogant, he's just really tired all the time (from lack of sleep) and he actually is one of the rare doctors in the world that generally cares about patients. Lei has heard a rumour that he has a boyfriend who is a runner (This is true LOL. His boyfriend's real name is Dimitri, I have not decided Dimitri's runner name XD).
Gigi Legris, probably the most important character out of these three in relation to Lei. She works out in her free time and is into fashion (which is how she and Lei became friends!) She's also a tall queen at 180cm 💅💅💅 (Basically she slays). She met Lei in university and med school and they were the closest to each other during those times. Or at least, to Lei, she was her closest friend in her time in the Middle district. Gigi is very cool, confidence, and won't take BS from other people. She is also 32 like Lei and Leon, and is a synthesis specialist like Lei. She probably originally was doing research work in one of Prism's downtown labs before she later got promoted to an Uptown lab a little bit after Lei got demoted... where she is now... well... maybe you will find out WHEN I GET THE VIS NOVEL WRITTEN :3
As an aside we do find out what happens to Gigi (cuz the DM/Keeper decided to use her PAIN) to a degree (HER FATE IS NOT CONFIRMED YET COPE) but no idea what happened to the other Prism clinic workers... maybe Leon and Melissa are still out in the world somewhere... COPE
