Elon is a prime example of why you shouldn't hero worship someone just because they're rich and did a some cool thing. Rule of thumb: The higher their net worth, the more skeletons in the closet a business mogul has.
I would like to add: the fact that Elon Musk only bought Twitter a year ago did some small amount of psychic damage to me. Only a year?!? My goodness. 
Removing drivers disturbs a delicate social contract.
Agree: it’s an antisocial fantasy. It’s not going to happen, and we should stop wasting our time on something so silly. Self-driving cars will be the jetpacks of our time.
