As typhoon #KristinePH (int'l name: Trami) is about to exit the Philippines area of responsibility (PAR) today, another storm called Kong-rey may enter the PAR on Sunday and will be called "#LeonPH." #PAGASA is closely monitoring the two weather systems for a possible "Fujiwara effect."

Although the storm #LeonPH (int'l name: #KONGREY) will not hit the Philippines (now aiming a direct hit on Taiwan by Thursday October 31), the outer rainbands of the typhoon may affect Extreme Northern Luzon and its trough may also affect areas of Visayas, Mindanao, and the western section of Southern Luzon, according to the local weather bureau PAGASA.
