An event to remedy the cruel realization that November is a just a few days away, (wait for it....) winter is coming. On November 8th at Galleria 814 there will be an opening reception for the talented Leone McComas. The artist's first solo show features work from the her Florence series L'Armour as well as some new pieces. The harmony of which speaks to the Leone's interest of the self and what it endures "in our quests for love and/or attention whether it be our expressions of gender or the transition to anew". This is not a night to be missed, although if you cannot make it for the fun, the show is currently exhibited from now until December 3rd.
