“  i don’t have time for this !! i have to go overthrow the government.  ” 

karai groaned and proceeded to quickly make her sim go to work instead of watching the horrible performance this random sim was putting on. the laptop screen was the only illumination in the blanket fort the two had cuddled up under. karai had placed herself in charge of controlling while leo dictated his opinion from time to time, while also just enjoying watching her play. he chuckled slightly at her statement, and rested his head on her shoulder. 

“  i don’t think you’re actually going to be able to do that, ya know.  ” 

“  oh just watch me.  ” 

as they waited for her sim to finish her protesting job, karai sighed, and started to zoom in and out of the apartment they made for her. 

“  wait, wait i know what to do.  ” 

she happily gave him control of the laptop as she wondered what exactly he planned on doing. there was something about the way he acted when it was just the two of them that she couldn’t get enough of. she adored how he was able to let go and just be himself, she got to have a leo that no one else did, and her selfish self couldn’t get enough. he clicked into build mode and then placed a chair in the middle of the floor. she face palmed immediately as she knew  exactly  where this was headed. 

“  leo, seriously ? agai-  ”

before she could finish leo erupted with laughter as he sized up the chair to be as tall as the refrigerator. he pulled these shenanigans almost every time they played, and it never ceased to amuse the mutant. she laughed with him .. and at him. 

“  look at it !! it’s- it’s so big. i- i can’t this is- ha- this is too good.  ”

“  alright, alright that’s enough !  ” she swiped the computer back and deleted the chair of amusement. “  isn’t that ever gonna get old ? ”

“  not a chance. that’s comedy gold and you know it ! now hurry she’s coming back and she’s gotta be ready for her date tonight.  ”

they continued to play the game, dressing up their  karai sim  and ultimately having her flirt with the waiter instead of her date for that night. the hours ticked on as their gaming continued, and they both silently wished they could stop time, and enjoy this moment of just simply existing together for as long as they wanted. they showed each other what they were thinking through stolen kisses at loading screens, and cuddles hidden beneath their laughter.  

“  you know what, one more stuff pack won’t hurt, right ?  ”

“  no no you don’t have the money.  ”

“  but leo, laundry stuff pack. just imagine how fun it will be to put laundry rooms in.  ”

“  i should stop you-  ”

“  but ??  ”

“  buy it already.  ”
