I did indeed use to play a sport! All of them that I could, in fact! My favorite was soccer, definitely soccer, but my school is very tiny and we stopped having a team in 4th grade so I kinda gave up on that lol. I also played basketball and volleyball but not anymore due to. Class dynamics and weird friend stuff and I’m not actually that good at sports </3 but it was fun while it lasted :) also whenever we played tennis or pickleball or badminton in PE those were some of my favorite games so I think the Vibes I give off are the right ones, I was only hindered by what my school offered :(
And you are 100% correct in the art kits, I’ve had SO many over the years I cannot lie. Even now I’m getting more and more art supplies and growing my collection. The Curse has consumed me, I’m afraid
sadly this last one is wrong 😔 but not for lack of trying on my part!! Cats. I love cats I want so many cats I love love love cats. Alas, 3/4 of the people in my household are allergic (including me. I am not exempt from dying in the presence of a cat) so I am not allowed to get one. When I move out though!! It’s fine I don’t need my parents to visit me ever (this is a lie but :( I want a cat). And I really want a snake at some point too but I have been told it’s also not allowed (for now. I think I can wear them down on this one). The only pets I’ve had are 2 blue betta fish both named Blueberry (owned at separate times, one was my sisters’ and the other bc my 5th grade teacher was moving away and couldn’t take the fish) and my stupid idiot mutt named Cedar (I love him very much but. He is not a cat. Not that great at being a dog either tho)
So all in all I’d say the vibes are pretty accurate?? Like that is my personality! But I have been limited by factors outside my control. The forces of the universe are working against me (and they HATE me too bc they made me allergic to cats)

the x in it sounds like a soft x sound ? like a mix between a j and sh sound. (i dont know how else to describe it kshjdskjs..) the vowels are just the same as like she/her, said like "ee" and "er". full pronoun set is xe/xir/xirs/xirself (as compared to say she/her/hers/herself).

Now theoretically this is a simple question but I am a chronic Overthinker so there’s layers to it
My immediate first thought would probably be Leo, which would be acceptable as it’s not my irl/“true” name, and thus I would be safe, but I also wouldn’t want to lose Leo as a name since it’s what I use pretty much anywhere that isn’t in person!
Then I might consider Luna, since it’s what I used to go by online but don’t really anymore, so I wouldn’t really lose anything, but it has ties to my irl name and that might not be safe. Also, some of my personas still use Luna as a name and idk if, since they represent me, that wouldn’t be allowed anymore? Who knows (the fae, probably, but I’m not asking them)
Now would be when I really have to Think. Assuming my mind doesn’t go blank of all possible names at that exact moment and I don’t mess up and accidentally blurt my real name/names (out of any of them I’d probably say my irl name bc it’s an in person meeting and while I like it I have less attachment to it, so it’d be really easy to accidentally say lol), the first name that came to mind was Noah. When I was figuring out what I wanted to go by online, since “Luna” wasn’t exactly my favorite (still a bit too feminine for my liking, and just felt kinda wrong/wasn’t the right fit), Noah was one of the names I was considering! Ultimately, however, I decided against it, as I didn’t want to seem like I was copying someone who had also just renamed themself Noah, and Leo was easier to explain if anyone irl heard one of my friends call me it. But I do still have some attachment to Noah as a name, so it sits fresh in my mind, but I don’t hold enough attachment to it to be upset about losing the ability to call myself it!
But if that doesn’t work and it has to be something I’ve actually gone by before, I would probably give up the name Luna (or “Lil Lunatic,” which is a username I used to have, so I would only lose an email and an irl nickname).
Hmm and because I’m already here talking about my names and what they mean to me, this is how I chose “Leo”:
So like in 5th grade we were learning about the renaissance and we had to do a project on a specific person from the renaissance. I think each person could be picked/given twice, and I got Leonardo da Vinci. My best friend said that it fit me bc I was smart and artistic and good in school, so I was like him as a true “renaissance man.” That made me happy, and kinda sat in the back of my mind.
Flash forward to the next year, and I found a place to post my art and draw new characters and have fun online talking to other people! At this point, I’m going by Luna online, but it just. Doesn’t feel right. So I ask my friends for advice on what to do, see if they have any suggestions. My best friend jokingly suggests Leonardo da Vinci again, as it became a sorta joke between us, but then I kinda think for a minute about it. I really like the name. It’s not super far off from Luna, as they both start with L, but it’s more masculine/gender neutral. I had an oc named Leo (that I had never drawn and still haven’t to this day, btw), who was one of my favorite characters at the time. It also fits, as I had grown attached to the Leonardo da Vinci joke, and if I went by Leo it was silly to think of the painter also going solely by Leo, and I can go by just Leo but say that it’s actually short for Leonardo. (I also didn’t realize at the time but I also liked the name fully because of the PJO/Heroes of Olympus series where Leo Valdez is one of my all time favorite characters and I was subconsciously trying to make myself more like him)
And the “easy to explain irl” thing is just the Leonardo da Vinci thing, which, yeah, can sound somewhat weird and self-centered, but it’s only in case of emergency if someone overhears me being called Leo and is confused/starts getting weird about it.
But once again, thank you so much for the ask! It is a very fun question to consider and not just answer, but to analyze why I say what I would say. And you also got me to reminisce on why I chose this name in the first place, which is always fun, so thank you for that too!
