1. favorite anime? FMA Brotherhood (and FMA 03), Madoka Magica, Black Butler, Kill la Kill
2. worst anime? Specifically the second half of Sword Art Online’s first season. The first half was watchable and had some fun fight scenes, but the Alfheim arc made me want to hit my head against a wall, it was so bad.
3. do you read the manga that goes with the anime you watch? Sometimes, generally if it’s well known that the anime adaptation hecked everything up (like Tokyo Ghoul) or if there was a big difference between the plots (like Black Butler).
4. favorite genres? Action/supernatural and magical girl
5. least favorite genres? is harem a genre? idk, anything that’s got gross stuff like fanservice, or all the romanticization of abuse you get in yaoi really skeeves me out.
6. favorite character? I’ll try to keep it short, but right off the bat I can say like half the cast of FMA(B), but especially Greed, Ling, and Roy, and then also Alois Trancy, Kyoko Sakura, Satsuki Kiryuin, L Lawliet, Juuzou Suzuya, Syaoran Li, APH England, and Crona Gorgon (at least, those are all the ones I can think of right now).
7. least favorite charcters? I found Pluto in the anime version of Black Butler pretty obnoxious since a lot of the scenes with him seemed pretty creepily sexual or just unnecessary, and I like Alois too much to like Claude, even though I appreciate his complexity. I also hate Ragyo Kiryuin for similar reasons, even though I again adore the way she’s written. And Kyubey’s terrible, but what else is new?
8. qualities you like in a character? I like very morally complex characters, people who may seem terrible at first but are secretly dorks, or who get a redemption arc.

11. how do you choose the anime you watch? these days mostly friend recommendation.
12. skip or listen to intros/outros? usually skip outros, but if an intro is really good (like Unravel!) I’ll probably watch it every time.
13. how do you cope if your friends or family don’t like you watching anime? no one in my life actively dislikes the fact that I watch it, so I mostly just let them mind their own business and don’t try to make them like it.
14. do you stop an anime midway if you don’t like it? sometimes, though if it’s short I won’t bother.
