Got this sick vintage tin-type at an antique store in Camas, Washington! 🦋
oh my god, is that a Hyles lineata tattoo on your shoulder?? i've been planning on getting one too, although on my opposite shoulder!! that's so cool!!
do you mind if i ask what plant it's resting on?
Yes, It’s my favorite moth! Omg we can match, haha. That’s so cool!
It’s resting in an elm branch because that’s a common host plant for the caterpillars. I’d love to see your tattoo once you get it! 🌸
Love this water bottle so much! From Cognitive Surplus! 🌿🐞🐝🪲🐜🐛🦋

Really loving this book lately! Definitely recommend if you’re into bugs!
Hi! Idk if you ID butterflies but I found this one recently and was wondering if you could? If you can't that's fine, enjoy the picture anyways :)
Hi there! I’m not sure where you’re from, but it looks to me to be a Western Tiger Swallowtail! 🐯
Also please excuse my gross, peeling tattoo— it’s new and still healing. 🪲
Back in November, my boyfriends grandmother gave me a caterpillar that she had found while gardening. Being a swallowtail, it overwintered as a pupa and surprised me this morning by fluttering around the enclosure I had it in! It was a lovely way to start the day, for sure. 🥰
