Draco and the Tickling Charm
Part 1
Part 2
Drarry fic
By the middle of second year, Harry was being aggravated by Draco's daily antics. But, of course, he couldn't do anything about it. He hadn't broken any school rules, after all. While walking to Flitwick's Charms class, Harry was sulking about his soaked clothes, which were, obviously, due to Draco's use of Aguamenti the same morning. When he walked in, however, the board caught his eye; they were learning a new spell that day.
"Ric-tu-sem-pra," he repeated the incantation, curious as to what it could do. "Interested, Mr. Potter?" Flitwick asked. Harry, having quite forgotten that he wasn't alone, nearly jumped out of his skin at the sudden voice beside him.
"Y-yes. What does it do?" he replied. "You'll learn in a few minutes. Can't have the others think I'm picking favourites, now can I?" Flitwick asked jovially. "I'm sure Malfoy's father would hear about that," Harry muttered through his teeth, as he went to take his seat in between where Ron and Hermione would usually be sitting. Both were, however, in the hospital wing. Another one of Neville's unfortunate accidents.
One by one the rest of the students began to file into the room, filling most of the seats with curious faces, and others with impatience. "Today we will be learning a new charm. It is pronounced…" Harry's eyes began to wander as Flitwick droned on, eyes landing on Draco, and settling to glare at him. "...practice your skills on one another. Keep that in mind, as you will need to choose partners. Alright, let's begin." That snapped Harry back to reality. They would have to practise the charm on one another?
He could only pray that Ron or 'Mione would get there in time. He didn't know what the spell did, as he wasn't paying any attention, but he didn't trust anyone. Two by two, people paired up.
"Sorry, Malfoy, but I already promised Goyle," Crabbe said, before walking away quickly. Draco scowled across the room at the only other loner as he stalked towards him. Harry set his jaw and met him in the middle. "Malfoy," Harry greeted coldly. "Potter." Draco spat back.
They separated into two lines, each pair facing one another. Flitwick pointed his wand to Draco's line, stating, "This is line A. You will be practicing first. Line B will go second. Alright, Begin!"
Wands raised into the air, and one loud "Rictusempra" fell down the line. It came from Draco's lips last, as he swished his wand and pointed it straight at Harry. Harry's line quickly devolved into laughter, which confused him until the silver light hit his stomach, enveloping it in a tickling sensation that set his face on fire and electrified his nerves.
Harry tried his best not to react, but he soon succumbed and began giggling madly. Draco's stomach fluttered at the sound and his wrist twisted of its own accord, which, to Harry's delight dismay, only intensified the sensation. He curled in on himself as if that would help anything.
Draco, meanwhile, was panicking. Why was his heart skipping at the musical sound of Harry's giggles? Why did the sight of him in such a joyful state, forced or not, make Draco want to grin like an idiot? His wand travelled up, increasing the pitch of Harry's breathy laughter as the light hit his ribs.
Draco became suddenly aware of the stares all around him, and the quiet, breathy pleas from Harry as he ran out of air. He swished his wand and the light retreated back into his wand. Harry breathed a sigh of relief but remained curled up, recovering.
Draco looked about him and realized that everyone else had stopped minutes ago and were simply staring at the pair of them in awe. He then felt the pull of his cheeks and coughed, wiping the grin off of his face.
Flitwick cleared his throat, returning to his stand, and spoke. "Now then. Line B, I suppose you will have to practice tomorrow. Alright, pack up now, class is almost over." Draco looked anywhere but at the boy being helped to his feet, face still ablaze, as he got his books and placed his wand into his belt.
He led the class out, to avoid glancing at Harry again, who took the rear for the same reason. He was more than a little grateful that neither of his friends had been there. No one spoke of the incident, and Draco made sure his father would be none the wiser.
@veryblushyswitch I- I kinda added to the prompt (whoops) and I'm posting it as a multi part fic so I have motivation to finish it. (I know it doesn't look like your prompt yet but I promise that part comes later)
